The Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta (FHLBA) is a co-operative bank providing affordable funding, grants and business services to member financial institutions. Atlanta is one of 12 regional banks in the Federal Home Loan Bank System. Their products, services and programs help financial institutions manage daily liquidity; fund mortgages originated for sale in the secondary market; fund loans and investments held in portfolio and reduce the funding cost of asset growth.
The Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta wanted to create one accurate and consistent data source. The need to generate a seamless reporting process that significantly reduced manual spreadsheet effort was apparent. It also needed a system that could handle prospective and retrospective report changes when implementing data management internal controls while ensuring integrity within the reporting system.
