Principal Consultant

Kalido is the leading provider of business-driven data governance software. Kalido enables companies to manage data as a shared enterprise asset by supporting the business process of data management. Unlike traditional approaches which treat the symptoms of bad data, Kalido targets the root cause by keeping bad data from infecting the business environment. Position Summary:

The Professional Services department within Kalido is responsible for ensuring customers are successful in deploying Kalido products. Our Consultants work with our customers and business partners both on short-term assignments to provide Kalido expertise, as well as longer-term efforts that bring quality and efficiency to data management projects and ensure they are delivered in accordance with the customer's expectations. Our Consultants utilize the Kalido Approach to maximize the value of Kalido products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • A primary point of contact for clients and accountable for project success and customer satisfaction.
  • Engages with a customer from the very beginning all the way to project go-live, advising the customer on project planning, project management, solution architecture and technical design.
  • Depending on size and complexity, may own multiple projects and are empowered to manage their own schedules to keep the multiple projects on track.
  • Working either independently or leading a team of Kalido and/or Partner consultants.
  • Exhibit strong technical skills as well as written and verbal communication skills, plus client management skills.
  • Manage Kalido Services to achieve annual revenue targets.
  • Assist the sales organization in selling Kalido licensed sales and professional services.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 6-8 years experience architecting, delivering and managing Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence projects.
  • At least 6 years experience in a leadership and customer-facing role on a project for a Systems Integrator, Consultancy or Enterprise Software Products organization.
  • At least 6 years of hands-on experience performing business analysis, business requirements analysis to support proposed enterprise-scale systems.
  • At least 6 years of experience developing data models, especially dimensional modelling, for data warehouses or data marts.
  • At least 6 years of recent hands-on experience working with Business Intelligence (BI) tools or ETL tools.
  • Knowledgeable on current trends in Data Warehouse and business analytics technologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in computer science or business.
  • Willingness to travel 70% of the time.
