Inside Sales Representative

Reports to:     Managing Director, EMEA
Location:         London, UK

Position Summary:

This is an internally based position in our London office. The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for prospecting to senior level decision makers in both enterprise and mid-market companies across EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) to promote interest in Kalido solutions and generate leads for the field sales organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate new revenue opportunities by identifying and facilitating initial prospects.
  • Assist Territory Sales Managers with getting prospects into forecast and closing sales.
  • Aggressive, high volume phone-based prospecting and selling.
  • Proactive, thorough management of prospect lists and tracking of activity and results.
  • Deliver product demonstrations using web-based meeting software.
  • Manage personal workflow including lead generation and territory management activities, forecasting, scheduling and follow-up of calls and proposals.

Required Skills and Experience: 

  • 6 + years proven track record and appetite for phone-based selling in a high call volume environment
  • Experience selling enterprise software solutions and familiarity with Business Intelligence space is a plus.
  • Effective phone presence and professional, confidence-inspiring personality.
  • Strong work ethic with a “do whatever it takes” attitude.
  • Ability to motivate others through enthusiasm, passion and empathy in a team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with CRM solutions- Salesforce.com in particular is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and nurture leads/prospects into qualified opportunities.
  • Familiarity with prospecting tools like Hoovers, OneSource, and Leadlander.
  • PC literate with experience in MS Office Suite.
  • College degree.
  • Customer focused and target driven with keen business acumen.
  • Comfortable and experienced in selling software solutions to senior executive audiences.
  • Requires both strategic and detailed thinking and strong initiative.
  • Primarily phone-based but may sometimes require customer/ partner visits.
  • Have experience with demand generation via both marketing and new business prospecting.
  • Strong sales qualification skills. 
  • Work closely with the field sales organisation to ensure alignment on territory planning, account planning, sales strategy, demand and pipeline generation expectations and execution.
  • Assist field sales organisation in responding to RFP’s and RFI’s.
  • Conduct presentations to interested clients via web based conferencing tools.
  • Have inside sales software company background with experience in the target companies, or similar organizations.
  • Multi-lingual a plus, but not essential.

Compensation Parameters:

£30-£40K base, £60K-£80K OTE
