Unilever powers global brands with Kalido

Global consumer products giant Unilever has selected a Kalido federated enterprise data warehousing solution to power the Unilever Information Project (UIP), a strategic business and IT initiative which aims to improve the consistency of its global information and facilitate its exchange on a worldwide basis.

UIP is part of the broader Path to Growth strategy, designed to focus innovation and marketing on Unilever's global brands, deliver substantial rationalization and procurement savings in the supply chain, and put more emphasis on developing the international customer base.

Kalido has enabled UIP to deliver a substantial improvement in the accuracy, speed and consistency of information provision, and to give improved insight into Unilever's global activities. UIP will play a substantial part in delivering and sustaining the Path to Growth objectives, in particular by providing visibility of non-financial brand health indicators, greater coordination of major account planning, and transparency of key material requirements in the supply chain.
