A Kalido software development engineer in test is both technically gifted and can work well with others to write new and maintain existing automated test cases. Technologies frequently change, and the successful candidate must have the ability to rapidly master new automation test tools and technologies.
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented software engineer to be part of our core automation team in Bangalore working on the automated tests of our flagship product suite, the Kalido Information Engine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate under minimal supervision to accomplish engineering tasks and objectives.
- Develop automated unit and integration tests.
- Improve the existing automated tests.
- Continuous improvement of test process, frameworks and tools.
- Configuration management of test automation assets.
- Adhere to defined coding standards and best practices.
- Participate in design and code reviews.
- Support the testing and development teams as required through troubleshooting any auto test issues.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in implementing and running automated tests..
- Experience of successfully implementing automated testing within a product development environment
- Experience in C#, Ruby, Oracle, SQL Server useful but not essential.
- Educated to degree level.
- Performance testing experience is desirable but not essential.
