Kalido ® Dynamic Information Warehouse™

The Kalido® Dynamic Information Warehouse™ product consists of a set of components that are deployed in a 3 tier configuration. Each component has specific software and hardware requirements. The layers (and components) are as follows:

Client (rich)

For Kalido Dynamic Information Warehouse, the client has a set of Windows C++ applications that provide the user interface to Kalido Dynamic Information Warehouse. The installation routines also run in a rich client application.

Application Server

This is a set of C++ applications and services. This layer hosts the business logic for the application.

Database Server

This consists of a relational database installed on an operating system.

NOTE: Kalido Dynamic Information Warehouse 8.3 requires the Oracle OLEDB provider (the OLEDB provider is supplied as part of the Oracle client software) for producing Excel Shops. All versions of Kalido Dynamic Information Warehouse require a locally installed version of the Oracle client software that is compatible with the version of Oracle Server that is hosting the Kalido warehouse.
