Universal Information Director architecture

Kalido Universal Information Director works with the Kalido® Dynamic Information Warehouse™ to export business models from the data warehouse to Business Intelligence applications such as BusinessObjects Designer, Cognos Framework Manager and Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services.

Kalido Dynamic Information Warehouse is an adaptive, business model-driven system for preparing, implementing, and managing data warehouses. Kalido Universal Information Director automates BI configuration when connecting one or multiple BI products to a data warehouse. Kalido Universal Information Director brings the power of the Kalido business model to drive BI tools throughout the enterprise, and helps to keep reports and analyses upto- date with underlying changes to the warehouse.

Kalido Universal Information Director consists of the following software components:

• Model configuration logic and User Interface
• Integration Services, through which Universal Information Director requests services from Kalido Dynamic Information Warehouse
• Meta Integration Technology Model Bridge (MIMB), a metadata movement solution capable of exporting models to a number of BI applications
